According to local residents, at around 8:00 p.m. on January 9, a large fire broke out in a warehouse near the gas station at 136 Ho Tung Mau, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
People said the fire broke out in a warehouse containing many flammable materials.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police quickly deployed forces and vehicles to the scene to put out the fire. However, due to strong winds, fire fighting was difficult.
Updated at 9:20 p.m., the fire has not been controlled. Nearly a dozen fire trucks lined up outside the scene of the fire, and as of 9:20 p.m. black smoke was still coming from inside the scene.
