Big fire at construction site in Da Nang, hundreds of workers flee

Da Nang - At the construction site of the Nguyen Kim Complex Scable Center, a large fire suddenly broke out, with smoke rising fiercely.

Initial information, at around 9:50 a.m. on October 4, at the construction site of the Nguyen Kim Complex Scalp Center Project (No. 46 Dien Bien Phu, Thanh Khe Ward, Da Nang City), a fire suddenly broke out. According to some witnesses at the scene, the fire originated from the basement and ground floor of the project. After a few small explosions, smoke and fire rose fiercely.

Hundreds of workers working at the construction site were ordered to be urgently evacuated.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Da Nang City Police immediately arrived at the scene.

No less than 7 specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers were mobilized to fight the fire.

At the scene, black smoke carrying a strong black smell. Dozens of firefighters took turns, carrying gas masks and fire extinguishers to put out the fire.

Outside, water hoses from specialized fire trucks continuously sprayed into window covers on the 3rd and 4th floors of the project.

By 11am the same day, the fire was basically under control. The cause is being further investigated.
