On the afternoon of August 27, a fire broke out at a mechanical workshop of about 100m2 located in lot 110 Me Suot Street (Hoa Khanh Ward, Da Nang City).
According to local residents, at around 5:10 p.m., a fire broke out inside the factory, accompanied by many explosions. The column of black smoke rose tens of meters high, which could be observed from afar.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police dispatched 6 fire trucks, tankers and dozens of officers and soldiers from 3 local teams to the scene.

Because the mechanical workshop is located deep in the exhaust, the factory is built completely with corrugated iron, the authorities have many difficulties in accessing it.
Fire police and rescue forces divided into many teams, spreading pipes nearly 500m long to bring water to put out the fire. People also supported transporting officers and soldiers from the main road to the fire fighting site. In the face of the black smoke, some firefighters had to equip air tanks to get inside.
At around 6:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control, with no casualties.
Currently, the authorities are counting the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
