According to Mr. Duong, the fire occurred at about 9 am on the same day, at a household with electronic repair activities, about 200m from the headquarters of Yen Thanh Commune People's Committee.
The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit causing the fire. Immediately after the discovery, functional forces were mobilized to the scene and organized to put out the fire" - Mr. Duong said.
According to records, at the time of the fire, the fire broke out strongly at the house, black smoke billowed hundreds of meters high, which could be observed from afar, causing many people in the surrounding area to worry.
Functional forces and local people quickly deployed firefighting measures to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.
After a period of efforts to put out the fire, by 10:30 am on the same day, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.
According to the Chairman of Yen Thanh Commune People's Committee, the fire did not cause any casualties. After extinguishing the fire, local authorities and functional forces continued to support the family in cleaning up the scene and overcoming the consequences.
