Regarding the large fire in Loc Ha village, Dong Anh commune (Hanoi), on the night of April 25, Hanoi City Police had official information.
According to Hanoi City Police, the fire occurred at 6:36 pm on April 25 at the waste oil storage yard (area of about 200m2, belonging to Lo hamlet, Loc Ha village).
Immediately after receiving the news, the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police urgently dispatched 1 command vehicle, 10 fire trucks, 1 tanker truck, 2 trucks, 1 pump truck, 2 fire-fighting robots and nearly 90 officers and soldiers of Fire and Rescue and Rescue Teams in areas No. 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, 18, 19, 20 to quickly arrive at the scene to organize firefighting.
The Commander of the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police directly went to the scene to direct firefighting work; at the same time, mobilized forces and vehicles of local authorities, commune police, forces participating in protecting social order and safety at the grassroots level, and militia and self-defense forces to coordinate in handling.


At the scene, the fire was identified as originating from the waste oil storage area, with many flammable materials, generating smoke, toxic gases, and high heat, causing difficulties for access and deployment of fire fighting formations.
The fire commander directed reconnaissance teams to organize the search for the victims, and at the same time deploy measures to cordon off and control the fire to prevent it from spreading. The forces coordinated to organize traffic diversion, ensure security and order, and serve the firefighting work.




At about 7:33 pm on the same day, the fire was basically under control, excavators and sand trucks were mobilized to extinguish embers to prevent the fire from spreading. By 10:20 pm, the fire was completely extinguished.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies according to regulations.
