On the evening of September 14, a representative of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai province said that as of 9:30 p.m. the same day, the unit's officers and soldiers were still approaching the scene to completely control the large fire.
At about 5:45 p.m. the same day, people discovered a fire breaking out at a scrap collector at a household in Dak Cam ward.
Upon receiving the news, dozens of officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue immediately arrived at the scene to deploy response measures.
Due to the strong spread of the fire, combined with the fire of a scrap warehouse and a collapsed corrugated iron roof, the fire fighting work encountered many difficulties, forcing the force to mobilize more fire trucks to support.
The fire attracted many curious people to watch, forcing the local police force to coordinate to ensure security, order and safety in the area where the fire occurred.
