Fire of fishing boat anchored on Nhat Le River

    The fishing boat caught fire on the Nhat Le River at noon, Quang Tri authorities promptly put out the fire to prevent it from spreading to other boats.

    At around 12 noon on September 11, a fire broke out at the anchorage of Ha Thon village (Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province), causing many people to panic.

    The burned ship with registration number QB 9.18xx of Mr. H.C (residing in Ha Thon village, Dong Hoi ward). At the time of the incident, the boat was only anchored, there were no fishing activities, and there were no people on board.

    Immediately after receiving the report, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) mobilized 10 officers and soldiers along with a specialized canoe to quickly approach the scene.

    The Border Guard force coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police and local people to put out the fire.

    After more than 1 hour of effort, by 110 p.m., the fire was basically under control, preventing the risk of spreading to other ships anchored nearby. Currently, the authorities are counting the damage and investigating the cause of the incident.
