Initial information, at around 11am on August 12, people living near a house on Nguyen Thuong Hien Street (formerly District 10) saw a fierce fire, accompanied by thick black smoke. Everyone quickly used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed. A large fire accompanied by an explosion.

Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting and rescue force (Ho Chi Minh City Police) quickly dispatched fire trucks and soldiers to be present. About 20 minutes later, the fire was controlled.



According to Mr. Q.H (residing in Vuon Lai ward), the cause is suspected to be an electrical short circuit. "At that time, an elderly person and 2 children were rescued in time. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties, and many properties were burned down, said Mr. H.


Currently, the authorities are blocking off the scene and investigating the cause of the fire.
