On August 10, information from the People's Committee of Hoa Quan commune, Nghe An province said that a forest fire had just occurred in the area.
At noon of the same day, a fire broke out near the top of Voi Map (Ru Oi) in Chi Hong village, Hoa Quan commune (formerly Thanh Chi commune, Thanh Chuong district). After receiving the report, the Village Chief Tran Duc Cong spoke loudly to call on all people to participate in fire fighting and reported to Chairman of Hoa Quan Commune People's Committee Nguyen The Cuong.
The commune mobilized all the Commune Police and Commune Military Forces, coordinated with Thanh Chuong Forest Protection Department, the Command Committee of Anh Son Area 5 (Thanh Chuong facility) and the people of Chi Hong village to put out the fire.
Due to the thick layer of food under the pine forest canopy and the hot weather, firefighting is difficult. However, with high determination, the fire fighting force opened a firebreak, and by 5:20 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control.
Currently, the forces are still sticking to the scene, continuing to deploy runways, extinguish the ruins, and prevent the fire from breaking out again.
