At about 0:00 on June 1, a fire suddenly broke out at the 3-story house of Mr. Nguyen Thanh D.'s family (born 1983, Tran Thi Ky street, Quy Nhon Nam ward, Gia Lai province).
According to initial information, the fire originated from the living room area on the 1st floor, an area of about 50m2, with 3 motorbikes parked inside.
In just a short time, the fire broke out strongly, creating a large amount of smoke and toxic gas, quickly covering the entire house.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Gia Lai Provincial Police urgently dispatched 4 specialized vehicles, including fire trucks, rescue vehicles, tanker trucks and ambulances, along with about 20 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting and rescue operations.
During the approach, functional forces discovered someone trapped in the house, so they quickly approached to rescue them.
Rescue forces promptly successfully rescued 2 children Nguyen Tuan Th. and Nguyen Tuan H. (both born in 2010), brought them out safely and transferred them to the hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, the health of the 2 children has stabilized.
In addition, 2 other family members escaped safely before the fire spread. The fire was then controlled, preventing it from spreading to neighboring areas.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
