Issuing 2,000 shopping vouchers to union members
In order to practically celebrate the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour for the term 2026 – 2031; respond to the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and continue to implement a series of activities to care for union members and workers in Workers' Month 2026.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said: the series of activities takes place from June 5 - 7, 2026, at the Ori Garden social housing area, Hai Van ward, Da Nang city.
In which, the Mobile Workers' Fair will have about 50 booths, providing essential services, selling goods at uniform prices, and discounting essential goods to serve union members, workers and people in the area.
The City Labor Federation issued 2,000 shopping vouchers, worth 100,000 VND each, for union members and workers to shop here.
At the opening ceremony of the Workers' Fair, the City Labor Federation presented 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances (in the package of supporting 1,000 gifts for Workers' Month); 20 gifts for children of workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND, for the Action Month for Children in 2026.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation organized training to guide stroke prevention and control with about 200 grassroots trade union officials and the OSH network of the grassroots participating.
At the training session, trainees will be disseminated basic knowledge about early detection of stroke signs, first aid skills, and how to handle it promptly when someone has a stroke.
At the same time, they are guided on preventive measures, health care, and building a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of disease.

Also according to Mr. Le Van Dai, Da Nang is one of the bridge points to continue the program of the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
More than 500 officials, union members, and workers participated in the bridge point in Da Nang. Da Nang City Labor Federation responded to the emulation movement with the organization of the 2026 Excellent Worker Skills Contest in the electronics industry.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of Da Nang city and the City Labor Federation organized a delegation to visit 5 workers and 5 children of workers in difficult circumstances at the Self-managed Workers' Group in the boarding house area in Lien Chieu and Hai Van wards.
In addition to the bridge point to relay the program of the Launching Ceremony of the Excellent Labor emulation movement, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also organized the 2026 Excellent Worker Skills Contest for the electronics industry.
The contest attracted 116 contestants who are union members and workers of grassroots trade unions directly under the Da Nang City Labor Federation to participate.
The exam content focuses on occupational safety and health and basic knowledge of electronics. Candidates go through 2 rounds of exams including 1 paper multiple-choice test with 30 questions in 30 minutes and 1 electronic welding practice test according to circuit boards with a time of 90 minutes.
The Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes. The contest promises to find golden hands in the electronics industry. This is also an opportunity to foster professional skills, improve the quality of labor production in units, contributing to improving the quality of human resources serving the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country and the city.
