At about 1:45 am on April 5, Command Information Center 114 received a fire report at a house on Nguyen Trai street, Cho Quan ward. Initial information said that someone was trapped inside the burning house.

Immediately, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 5 in coordination with Region 1 mobilized many specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.
Here, functional forces determined that the fire broke out inside a high-rise building with a closed rolling door. The soldiers deployed a plan to cut the rolling door to approach the fire source, and at the same time used ladder trucks to approach the 6th floor and stairs to organize reconnaissance and search for victims.

With urgency, after only 9 minutes of approach, the fire was completely extinguished. Rescue forces approached and guided 2 people trapped inside to escape safely.
The fire did not cause any casualties. Thanks to the quick response, more than 90% of the house area has been protected, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring households. Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
