On March 24, Ho Chi Minh City Police are investigating a fire at a rice shop that killed a mother and her child.
Initial information, at about 10 pm on March 23, a fire suddenly broke out from a vegetarian rice shop on Pham Dang Giang street, near the Go May intersection overpass, Binh Hung Hoa ward.
Detecting the fire, people used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but initial efforts were unsuccessful. The smoke and fire then spread fiercely, covering the house.

The Fire and Rescue Force of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. A few minutes later, the fire was extinguished.
When breaking the door to go inside, police discovered that the two mothers and children, including a 48-year-old mother and a 10-year-old child, had died.




Binh Hung Hoa Ward People's Committee is coordinating with relevant units to clarify the cause of the fire and have a plan to support the families of the 2 victims.
