By noon on February 4, functional forces were still continuing to investigate the cause of the fire that occurred in Vinh Loc commune.

Previously, at more than 0:00 on the same day, a fire suddenly broke out at a house on inter-hamlet 2-3-4 road, Vinh Loc commune. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire house and then spreading to the adjacent eatery.
When the fire was discovered, people around shouted and used on-site equipment to put out the fire, but the fire was too large and could not be controlled.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched vehicles and many officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy firefighting operations. The heat from the fire caused the corrugated iron roof of the pub to burst and deform; many assets inside such as washing machines and air conditioning units were heavily damaged. To limit damage, the pub owner urgently moved the gas cylinder and many items to a safe area.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
