On February 4, Phuoc Long Ward Police and professional units are still blockading the scene, conducting an examination to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire at the confectionery shop on Do Xuan Hop street.
According to initial information, around dawn on the same day, people discovered smoke and fire rising from a bakery specializing in selling cream cakes and cakes. In just a short time, the fire quickly spread and engulfed the entire store.

People around shouted for help, using mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed because inside there were many flammable materials.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07), Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene, deployed water spraying from many directions, controlled the fire, and prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.

The fire did not cause any casualties, but most of the goods and equipment inside were burned down.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional forces.
