According to Mr. Lam, at 9:30 p.m. on August 9, people in Dak Y Pay village, Mang But commune discovered that Mr. A Len's house in Dak Y Pay village was on fire, so they shouted to everyone to put out the fire. However, the house was mainly made of wood, so the fire broke out strongly and quickly spread to the house of the biological mother, Mrs. Y Soi (60 years old).
"At the time of the fire, Mrs. Y Soi, Mr. Len and Mr. Len's son were sleeping in the house. Seeing everyone screaming loudly, Mrs. Y Soi and Mr. Len's son ran out safely, while Mr. Len was trapped in the house, resulting in severe burns and death. All of Mr. Len's household assets, including 70 bags of rice, and furniture were completely burned down by the fire" - Mr. Lam said.
Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities promptly arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire, and at the same time visited, encouraged and supported the victim's family with 15 million VND. Currently, the authorities are helping the family prepare the victim's funeral.
Mr. Dang Ba Lam said that Mr. Len's family is a member of the Xe Dang ethnic group, a disadvantaged group in the locality. After the fire, Mr. Len's family fell into a difficult situation, so we hope that benefactors will care and help.
