The factory fire occurred at nearly 3 pm on April 29 at a wood furniture manufacturing company in Tan Binh Industrial Park, Vinh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, a fire suddenly broke out in the production area of the company's factory.
Detecting a fire, people inside the company shouted to each other to use on-site fire fighting equipment to put out the fire but failed. The fire broke out strongly and spread widely in the factory.
Upon receiving the news, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. About 1 hour later, the fire was basically controlled. After that, functional forces proceeded to completely extinguish the fire.
At the scene, a part of the corrugated iron roof of the workshop collapsed, inside many goods and machinery were burned.
It is known that the fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, functional agencies are verifying damage and investigating to clarify the cause of the fire.
