The fire occurred at about 8:30 pm at the factory of a company on DH608 street in An Son neighborhood, Long Nguyen ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, people suddenly discovered a fire breaking out at the factory right at the gate of the paint and glue production company.
People shouted to each other to use on-site vehicles to put out the fire but failed. The fire quickly flared up fiercely and spread. The incident was later reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire fighting vehicles and dozens of officers to the scene to put out the fire.
At the scene, the corrugated iron roof of the workshop collapsed, many raw materials and machinery were burned. Many loud explosions were heard inside the fire.

The fire caused smoke and a pungent smell to spread into people's houses in the surrounding area. Fearing the fire would spread, people in the surrounding area proactively pulled water hoses to prevent the fire from spreading.
By 9:30 PM on the same day, functional forces had controlled the fire and were proceeding to completely extinguish the fire.
