The factory fire occurred at about 5:30 pm on the same day in an alley in Dinh Hoa 3 neighborhood, Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City (Dinh Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city, former Binh Duong province).
Initial information, at the above time, people discovered a fire breaking out in a factory hundreds of square meters wide. People shouted to each other to use on-site fire fighting equipment to put out the fire but failed.
The fire grew larger and larger, columns of smoke and fire rose tens of meters high, visible even from afar. The incident was later reported to functional agencies.
At the scene, the corrugated iron roof of the workshop collapsed. Inside, the fire was fierce, emitting many explosions. Black smoke billowed into the surrounding residential area, affecting people.

Upon receiving the news, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched specialized fire fighting vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Chanh Hiep Ward functional forces also quickly arrived to regulate traffic and support firefighting work.
By 6 pm on the same day, the fire was still raging fiercely, and functional forces were making efforts to put out the fire.
