According to information from My Hanh Commune People's Committee, the fire broke out at about 1:40 pm at a production workshop in Chinh Trang Industrial Cluster. At the time of the fire, the workshop contained many flammable materials, so the fire spread quickly, creating a column of smoke tens of meters high.
Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting force mobilized about 20 officers and soldiers and 8 specialized vehicles to the scene. At the same time, 21 officers and soldiers of the standing militia of the Military Command of My Hanh commune were also mobilized to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
Firefighting teams were deployed urgently, focusing on zoning, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring factories. At about 2:25 pm on the same day, the fire was basically controlled and then completely extinguished.
Although no casualties were recorded, the fire heavily damaged more than 1,000 m2 of factory and many assets inside. Currently, provincial authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the specific cause and statistics of total damage.
