Factory fire in Hanoi, black smoke billows up

    Hanoi - The fire occurred at a wood workshop in the Ngoc Hoa handicraft industry area (Chuong My ward), black smoke billowed up.

    Initial information, the fire occurred at about 10 am on August 19 at a factory in the Ngoc Hoa handicraft industry area (Hanoi).

    At this time, black smoke billowed up, many people working inside panicked and ran out.

    Some people used on-site fire extinguishers to put out the fire but it was too late because the fire spread too quickly, accompanied by many explosions.

    Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of area 28 and area 4, the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police were dispatched to the scene to organize firefighting.

    There is currently no official information about damage related to the fire.

    Functional agencies are continuing to clarify the cause.
