On the evening of September 7, a fire suddenly broke out on a fishing boat of fishermen at Tho Quang fishing port, on the Han River, (belonging to Son Tra ward, Da Nang), directly threatening hundreds of vehicles anchored around.
According to initial information, the fire suddenly broke out from a fishing boat in the boat harbor area, quickly engulfing the vehicle. Because the incident occurred at night, and there were hundreds of fishing boats anchored close together, there was a risk of the fire spreading.
Immediately, functional forces mobilized 2 specialized fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to be present at the scene, urgently extinguishing the fire.

At the same time, mobilizing more small canoes to approach the scene closely, spraying water directly from the sea to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring ships.
After nearly 30 minutes of firefighting, the fire was basically controlled and completely extinguished, preventing the risk of fire spreading at the largest boat anchorage in the Central region.
Functional forces are conducting scene examination, statistics of damage and investigating to clarify the cause of the fire.
