According to initial information, at about 5:04 am on May 25, a sleeper bus with license plate 19B - 015. xx was traveling on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway section in Cam Hung commune when it suddenly caught fire.
At the time of the incident, there were more than 30 passengers on the bus. Immediately after discovering the fire, the driver and assistant driver quickly guided passengers to escape safely, and at the same time reported to the functional forces.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Ha Tinh Provincial Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene and deploy fire fighting measures.
After a few minutes of firefighting, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. The incident did not cause any casualties, basically protecting the vehicle and many assets and belongings of passengers. Currently, the cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
