Previously, people discovered a fire coming from a mechanical workshop in alley 479 Tan Hoa Dong, Binh Tri Dong ward, Binh Tan district.
At this time, workers working inside the mechanical workshop and surrounding people mobilized fire extinguishers to put out the fire. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Tan District Police then dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to rescue, control and extinguish the fire.
People at the scene said that when the fire broke out, there were many loud explosions and flames spread inside the mechanical workshop. Workers ran outside. Two people were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital by their colleagues.
According to local people, the mechanical workshop specializes in making iron hinges and has been operating here for many years.
