The scrap factory fire occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on March 31 at residential area No. 33, Hoa Tho Tay ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang city. The scrap factory is located on private land, without adjacent houses.
Initial information, at that time, people discovered a fire breaking out in the scrap workshop area. The black smoke column is tens of meters high, people in other districts such as Son Tra and Hai Chau still clearly see the black smoke column rising high.
Immediately afterwards, the people reported to the authorities. After receiving the report, the Da Nang Fire Police dispatched fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire, divided into many directions to spray water to put out the fire to prevent it from spreading to surrounding households.
By 8:30 a.m., the fire was basically under control, but the authorities continued to spray water to completely extinguish the fire, to prevent it from breaking out again.
