According to the Project Management Board, the 29.3 Park Upgrade and Renovation Project has a total investment of nearly 637 billion VND, construction costs, equipment and other costs are 330 billion VND, compensation costs are 297 billion VND; contingency costs are 46 billion VND.
The project will include a number of main investment projects including: construction block items and landscape architecture items.
The project block will include the design "The Peace Ring" with a construction area of 3,982 m2; the project at the entrance from Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, public toilets, and boat docks.
The landscape architecture category includes an outdoor playground and an artistic water spraying system arranged on an area in a elip shape with a total length of 80m, combined with 7 different spraying styles at the same time; parking lot includes 3 locations with a total area of 2,833m2; concrete support column (located outside the "Peace rings" project).
Along with many other related items such as internal traffic system, walking paths, water supply and drainage systems, internal and external mechanical systems, dredging lake beds, relocating trees, dismantling entertainment equipment, existing works and installing lighting systems, sound equipment systems, air conditioning systems at the "The Peace Ring" project, outdoor exercise equipment, children's play equipment.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Nam - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City - said that 29.3 Park was built after the liberation of Da Nang City. This is a project of special significance related to the field of cultural and social institutions, improving the spiritual life of the people.
In order for the project to be implemented on schedule and meet requirements, Vice Chairman of the city Le Quang Nam suggested: Relevant departments and localities create conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly. The investor, project manager and supervision consultant must comply with regulations on construction investment management, regularly urge, inspect, control construction progress and project quality, and closely monitor the implementation process.
The construction unit must have solutions to arrange human resources and equipment to organize construction reasonably, in accordance with actual conditions at the site, properly implement the contract signed with the investor, organize construction, complete the project to ensure quality, strive to exceed the schedule and be absolutely safe".
