Boat sinks on river, one person dies

    Quang Binh - 4 people on a boat on the Gianh River unfortunately sank, 3 people swam to shore safely, the rest sank into water and died.

    On February 16, the People's Committee of Van Hoa commune (Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province) said that a boat sinking had just occurred in the area, killing one person.

    At about 1:00 p.m. the same day, 4 people in Phu Canh Commune (Quang Trach District) were riding a boat on the Gianh River between Van Hoa Commune and Phu Canh Commune when they unfortunately sank.

    3 people were lucky to swim to shore safely, the remaining one named H.T.O (Phu Canh commune) sank into the water.

    After receiving the news, the authorities and local people organized a search.

    At 4:00 p.m. the same day, O's body was found. The victim has now been taken home for funeral arrangements.
