On June 6, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leaders of Hac Thanh Ward People's Committee (the central ward of Thanh Hoa province) said that the locality had received a request from the people and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation regarding the relocation of the domestic waste collection point in front of the gate of the Provincial Labor Culture House.

The difficulty in handling this garbage collection point is that it has existed for many years. If this point is relocated, it will have to be moved to another point, while almost all other points in the area are experiencing similar situations, causing pollution that makes people angry," a representative of the leaders of Hac Thanh Ward People's Committee informed.
According to a representative of the Ward People's Committee, the solution proposed by the ward is that by 2027, when signing a contract with the garbage collection unit, the ward will propose that the company invest in large-sized collection vehicles; wherever garbage reaches, it will be transported immediately, without causing congestion and pollution.
However, the ward leaders also admitted that this is only a planned solution, because in the process of implementation, if the enterprise's resources are not large enough and strong enough, implementation may encounter difficulties.

Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation had a document sent to Hac Thanh Ward People's Committee, requesting to relocate the garbage collection point in front of the gate of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Culture House.
However, to date, this gathering point is still operating, located right in front of the gate of the Cultural House, at address No. 9 Hang Nan street, and also located on the side of Tong Duy Tan Temple (also known as Phu Coc).
The existence of this garbage collection point affects the activities of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union organization, union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and households living near the area.
To ensure conditions for organizing conferences, training, cultural, artistic, and sports activities of the trade union, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation proposed that the Hac Thanh Ward People's Committee and related units consider and direct the relocation of the garbage collection point to a suitable location, far from residential areas; and at the same time have measures to collect and treat waste to ensure environmental sanitation.
Many people living near the garbage collection point said that this point has existed for more than 10 years, causing environmental pollution and greatly affecting their lives. People have repeatedly petitioned functional agencies at meetings, but so far the matter has not been resolved.
