Inspecting the construction work at the site of the Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien route 2 investment project and the construction of Nguyen Trai bridge, urban beautification in the surrounding area, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau emphasized that these are two key traffic projects of the city. However, both projects are facing difficulties in site clearance, directly affecting the construction progress and the local public investment disbursement plan.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the authorities of Hai An, Hung Dao, Kien An, and Ngo Quyen wards to mobilize the synchronous participation of the entire political system and local organizations to propagate and mobilize organizations and individuals to promptly agree and hand over the site. The city applies all policies and regimes and implements publicity and transparency in compensation and support for site clearance. Localities must complete site clearance by October 2025 at the latest to hand over to investors.
The Hai Phong Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) strengthens the direction of contractors, supervision consultants to mobilize human resources and equipment to speed up the progress of bidding packages, ensuring quality.
The City Police directed professional units and local police to coordinate with investors and construction units to increase forces to participate in traffic regulation and guidance, ensuring security, order and traffic safety throughout the project implementation.
Regarding the progress of relocating Hoang Dieu port, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau assigned the City People's Committee Office and relevant departments and branches to urgently work with Vietnam Maritime Corporation and Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company to agree on the handover of the entire site related to the project as soon as possible. The city is determined not to delay the deadline for relocating Hoang Dieu port, because the policy of relocating the port has existed for a long time and the city creates the best conditions for businesses to organize and rearrange production and business activities.
According to the report, the investment project to build the Ring Road 2 section of Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien road has a total investment of VND 7,020 billion. The project is facing problems related to site clearance in Hai An, Hung Dao and Kien An wards.
The project to invest in the construction of Nguyen Trai Bridge and urban embellishment of the surrounding area with a total investment of VND 6,235.5 billion is also facing problems with the site clearance at 2 apartment buildings No. 6 Nguyen Trai Street and No. 8 May To Street; the site clearance of Hoang Dieu Port area and dismantling of the railway and railway station section of Hoang Dieu Port area.
