Responding to the call of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to mobilize support for the Cuban people, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, business community and people of Hai Phong to actively participate in contributing, helping the Cuban people overcome difficulties and contribute to fostering the traditional friendship between the two peoples.
Departments, branches, unions, People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones will strengthen propaganda and mobilization of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people of the city to promote the spirit of international solidarity, affection, responsibility, and actively participate in contributing to support the Cuban people, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (1960-2025) and the "Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year".
The City Red Cross Society presides over and coordinates with the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies and units to organize the campaign; publicize account numbers, guide the reception, management and transfer of donation funds according to regulations. At the same time, periodically report the results to the City People's Committee Office every Friday to update and monitor the implementation progress.
News agencies, newspapers, grassroots media systems, Electronic Information portals of departments, branches and localities will increase propaganda about the significance of the campaign, set typical examples for collectives and individuals, and create a wide spread in society; convey the message: "Vietnam - Cuba: forever on the shoulders in the challenge of "Sharing between hardship" and "Always have Vietnam".
