Many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) at all levels have been successfully organized.
On August 20, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security sent a letter of thanks.
The content of the Letter of gratitude stated that 2025 is a year of special significance, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Under the direction of the Party and State, with the coordination, support and assistance of departments, ministries, branches, localities, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations at all levels and the People, many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection at all levels were successfully organized; contributing to arousing the spirit and strength of national solidarity; recognizing and honoring the glorious heroic tradition, achievements, contributions, dedication and great and silent sacrifices of the Vietnam People's Public Security.
In particular, in the atmosphere of the historic August autumn, the National Celebration Ceremony and many events were held solemnly and meaningfully, which are a great source of encouragement for the Public Security force to successfully complete the glorious mission in the new era of development.
The Central Party Committee of the Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security respectfully thank the attention and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the National Assembly, the President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the coordination and consultation of the People's Army, central and local departments, ministries, branches; the support and encouragement of the People, press agencies and international friends so that the commemorative activities can be successfully organized, spreading many meaningful messages, bringing the People and the People's Public Security of Vietnam deep emotion and pride.
