On the third day of Tet (January 31, 2025), Dia Tang Phi Lai Tu Pagoda (Liem Son Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province) was packed with pilgrims. The number of people flocking there was so large that there were long lines waiting at the walkways, photo areas, and main hall.
In the temple yard, many families took the opportunity to take photos with yellow chrysanthemums and green trees, creating a brilliant spring scene. However, moving around was difficult due to the large crowd.
Mr. Minh Hai (a tourist from Hanoi) shared: "I left at noon to avoid the crowd, but when I arrived, it was already packed with people. Moving into the main hall was very difficult.
Not only tourists from afar, but also local people were surprised by the number of people flocking to the pagoda on this occasion. Ms. Tran Kieu Oanh (Thanh Huong commune, Thanh Liem district) said: "Every year the pagoda is crowded, but this year the number of visitors seems to have increased sharply. From early morning, we saw groups of cars coming, filling up the parking lot. The entrance to the pagoda is always packed with people."
According to Ms. Oanh, Dia Tang Phi Lai Tu Pagoda has attracted more and more tourists in recent years thanks to its beautiful landscape and peaceful atmosphere. However, on peak days, there needs to be a more reasonable plan to manage the flow of people to avoid overloading.

The crowded situation at Dia Tang Phi Lai Tu Pagoda reflects the increasingly popular trend of combining spring travel with temple visits. In particular, pagodas with beautiful landscapes and rich historical values are often destinations that attract large crowds.
It is expected that the number of visitors to the pagoda will remain high in the coming days, especially during the full moon festival of January. Visitors are advised to go early and avoid gathering during peak hours to ensure a more comfortable sightseeing space.
