At the time of the actual inspection, it was shown that there was a phenomenon of fish naturally emerging from the water surface and drifting to shore. The animals and aquatic animals that died naturally on Co Dam stream (the section flowing through Ba Dinh ward and Lam Son ward, Bim Son town) did not have clinical signs of infectious diseases, parasitic diseases, and fungi on fish; when examined, the organs were found to be completely normal.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine has taken 3 fish samples and 3 water samples to analyze disease indicators and some water indicators in aquaculture.
The results of the analysis of samples from the Northern Center for Environmental Monitoring and aquatic Diseases - Aquaculture Research Institute I showed: No infectious diseases, parasites, or fungi were detected on the sampled fish; the total number of Aeromonas and the total number of Streptococcus with values within the limit at this threshold have not caused fish deaths.
To clarify the incident, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Fisheries have also requested the People's Committee of Bim Son town to continue to coordinate with competent authorities to determine the cause of natural aquatic animals dying in Co Dam stream.
Requesting wards to organize the collection of dead and destroyed aquatic animals, treat the environment where they were destroyed with chemicals, ensure disease safety, and ensure environmental sanitation. Coordinate with the environmental management agency to conduct environmental inspection and supervision, assess the current situation, and assess the impact of the environment on the Co Dam stream section.
