On February 25, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province said that regarding the incident of mass fish deaths in Co Dam stream, on the same morning, a working group of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Hoa Province, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the province and the People's Committee of Bim Son Town arrived at the scene to verify, collect samples of dead fish for testing, and determine the cause of mass fish deaths.

"For the fish in the stream, yesterday (February 24), the People's Committees of Ba Dinh Ward and Lam Son Ward mobilized forces to collect and destroy them" - the representative of Ba Dinh Ward's leadership informed.

According to many residents in Quarter 6, Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son Town, the situation of shrimp and fish naturally dying has been happening for about a week now.
