The opening ceremony of the Hanoi Capital Press Center aims to officially put into operation a modern, multi-functional press institution, meeting communication requirements in the digital age; enhancing publicity and transparency in the information provision of the City government to the press, people and businesses.

The Hanoi Capital Press Center is a unit focusing on the activities of providing, coordinating and processing press information of the City. The center has the function of: Receiving, synthesizing and providing accurate information from Departments, branches, sectors and localities; supporting the press to access information sources quickly, fully and promptly; feedback and correcting incorrect information; handling emergency communication situations; applying modern technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data, analyzing trends and warning of fake news in media management; organizing press conferences, seminars, press conferences, press photo exhibitions...

The Capital Press Center aims to integrate modern technology solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI) in trend monitoring, information analysis on cyberspace, fake news warning systems, and big data analysis tools to assess the spread of media topics. This is the first step in building an open, smart, user-friendly and press-friendly media ecosystem.

An important highlight of the event is the signing of a coordination program between the Hanoi People's Committee Office and the Government Electronic Information Portal to establish a mechanism for connecting, connecting data and enhancing two-way information exchange, supporting the press to access official sources more quickly and conveniently.
