13,563 specimens of martyrs' remains were transported to Hanoi, continuing the journey to find the identities of those who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
On September 11, the CASA-295 military transport flight of the Air Defense - Air Force Service carrying 13,563 sets of martyrs' remains from the South landed at Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi).
Here, the Air Defense - Air Force Service in coordination with Military Region 7, Dong Nai City People's Committee, Tay Ninh province and Lam Dong province organized an incense offering ceremony, receiving and handing over martyrs' remains samples to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Military Forensic Institute for DNA testing and identification.
At the reception ceremony, leaders of Military Region 7, the Air Defense - Air Force Service and representatives of localities offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
