Regarding information that drivers called for turning off the Grab application to protest the platform's policy on social networks, on the evening of September 10, Grab Vietnam responded to Lao Dong Newspaper about the incident.
Grab said that service operations in recent days have been going on normally. "Indices related to service quality and operation of driver partners, as well as the platform, are still maintained at a stable level," Grab responded.
During the same period, this business recorded some information and discussions related to Grab shared on social networks, including fake information. Grab is seriously assessing the situation.
Grab affirms that maintaining service quality for users and partners' livelihoods, including driver partners, is always a top priority in any context. The business said that it is always actively listening to opinions and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure stable service operations.
In addition, Grab said it is strengthening communication to driver partners about how to ensure security and safety when operating trips.
We always prioritize considering and offering practical support solutions to maximize the legitimate rights of driver partners in the process of operating on the platform," Grab responded.
Grab also recommends that users and partners refer to information from Grab's official channels and reliable sources, especially information related to operations, to avoid affecting the user's service experience as well as the partner's operations.

Previously, many Grab drivers, including car and motorbike drivers, complained to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters about the calculation of fares and fees on each trip.
According to some drivers, each trip currently has to bear many types of fees, including "App Use Fee". According to Grab's terms, this fee is the difference between the fare customers pay and the revenue drivers receive, which is adjusted flexibly depending on the trip, time, area and supply and demand situation.
We don't know how Grab charges this type of fee, based on what formula or factor to decide," Mr. Trung - a Grab driver, shared.
Many drivers believe that the actual amount of money received after each trip is not commensurate with the effort and other conditions they put in.
There are trips where I have to pick up passengers for 2km, then drive passengers for another 2km, a total of 4km, but the actual amount received is only about 8,889 VND. Calculated, I am only paid more than 2,000 VND/km," shared Mr. Hung - a Grab driver.

Lao Dong Newspaper has requested Grab to clarify the formula for calculating the "App Use Fee", the factors determining this fee and how drivers can check and compare the actual amount received.
However, in the response on September 10, Grab has not provided specific details of the above content.
