On June 8, Dak Lak Provincial Police said that from the beginning of 2026 to now, the Provincial Police force has coordinated with local authorities to successfully mobilize many households to voluntarily hand over land to implement component project 3, belonging to the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway.
This result shows the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, contributing to removing "bottlenecks" in site clearance, creating conditions for construction units to accelerate project progress.
Accordingly, police officers and soldiers directly went to the grassroots level to meet, dialogue, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people; and at the same time propagate and explain clearly the meaning and importance of the project as well as compensation, support and resettlement policies according to regulations.
Thanks to this, many households have agreed and voluntarily handed over the land without having to apply coercive measures.
One of the typical cases is the mobilization of Mr. N.V.T's household (residing in Dak Lak province) to voluntarily hand over the land area to serve the construction of the tunnel slope item of the expressway.
Previously, although functional agencies had repeatedly propagated and dialogued, the obstacles still lasted, affecting the project implementation progress.
In parallel with that, based on firmly grasping the situation, the police force has coordinated with local authorities and relevant units to persistently meet, exchange, and explain; and listen to the difficulties and legitimate petitions of the people.
Since then, functional forces have created consensus, helping households voluntarily hand over land, contributing to removing one of the important bottlenecks of the project without the need for coercion.
According to Mr. Dang Tho Dan, Managing Director of Component Project 3, Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport and Agriculture and Rural Development Projects of the province, to date, the project has completed nearly 97% of the construction volume and is basically technically cleared.
However, in some locations, there are still difficulties and obstacles related to site clearance for auxiliary items.
Currently, levels, sectors and localities are continuing to review and resolve people's petitions in accordance with the law, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people, and creating conditions for the project to be completed soon according to plan.
