The Department of Construction hands over the operation and exploitation of the control cycle managed by the Department to the Traffic Police Department (Hai Phong City Police) for operation, exploitation and use.
After the handover, the traffic police force will operate, exploit and use a control cycle of 144 intersections with traffic lights, including 128 traffic light clusters and 15 yellow flashing warning lights throughout the city.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Xoang - Head of the Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong City Police - affirmed that this transfer will create favorable conditions for the traffic police force to carry out assigned functions, thereby contributing to building a smart traffic system, meeting the requirements of the current increase in vehicles.
