After checking the company's 3 operating cold storage facilities, containing about 20 tons of frozen food of all kinds.
At the cold storage facilities, the inspection team discovered about 9 tons of food including: meat, fish, seafood and foods that had been pre-processed for unknown origin, without labels, without production date and expiration date.
All goods without expiration date and of unknown origin have been sealed by the inspection team according to regulations.
The Economic Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police is continuing to consolidate the case file to handle it according to the provisions of law.
Previously, the Economic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police suddenly inspected the warehouse at 56/22 Da Tuong, Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City) and discovered nearly 2,000 packs of cigarettes of unknown origin, no warning pictures, no import stamps.
Expanding the investigation, the Economic Police Department inspected an apartment in Van Thanh Ward, Nha Trang City, rented by D.N.K.L (residing in Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City), and discovered more than 4,500 packs of cigarettes of various types of more than 100 different brands but without imported labels.
All of the above goods have been temporarily detained for handling according to regulations.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, implementing a peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in Khanh Hoa province, the Market Management force presided over and coordinated with the Inspectorate of the Department of Industry and Trade to conduct 74 inspections and detect 32 violations.
Thereby, 26 cases were handled, with a total value of infringing goods of VND 122.933 million. The total fine is 200,25 million VND.
