On January 24, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Provincial Police Liquidation and Destruction Council organized the destruction of a large quantity of weapons, explosives, support tools and firecrackers recovered and received by local police from people, agencies, organizations, and businesses in the province.
The destruction operation was carried out in the context that in the past time, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have seriously implemented the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools; promoted propaganda and mobilized people to voluntarily hand over illegal weapons, firecrackers and supporting tools.
At the same time, functional forces strengthen prevention, combat, and handling of law violations related to this field.
Through the work of mobilizing people to hand over; the work of fighting and handling cases and lawsuits; as well as receiving from agencies, organizations, and businesses equipped and using weapons and support tools according to regulations, the police force has recovered and received a large number of weapons, support tools and firecrackers.
After being inspected and classified according to regulations, functional forces destroyed 131 guns of all kinds, 132 support tools, 180 rudimentary weapons and 69 artillery systems.
The entire destruction process is carried out according to strict processes and procedures, under the close supervision of the Destruction Council, ensuring absolute safety.
The destruction of weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers contributes to strictly implementing the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools; improving the efficiency of State management.
At the same time, improve the sense of responsibility of agencies, organizations and people in complying with the provisions of law, contributing to maintaining security and order in Khanh Hoa province.
