On January 16, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang Provincial Police organized a conference to deploy and sign a coordination plan for crime prevention and control with professional departments under the Ministry of Public Security.
An Giang Provincial Police proceeded to sign a coordination plan with the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, the Criminal Police Department, the Economic Police Department, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and the Environmental Crime Prevention and Control Police Department. In order to strengthen coordination in grasping the situation, exchanging information, guiding nghiep vu and fighting and handling crimes in the Phu Quoc special zone.
The coordination plan focuses on key contents such as: preventing and combating criminal offenses, organized crime, drug crimes, economic and environmental crimes; strictly managing all types of subjects; proactively detecting and handling from early and remote sources of complex security and order risks, not allowing hotspots to form.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong - Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police - emphasized that the signing of the coordination plan with professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security is of particular importance, showing the high political determination of the Provincial Police in ensuring security and order in Phu Quoc special zone - a strategic area for economy, tourism and foreign affairs.
The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police requested that after signing the Coordination Plan, professional departments of the Provincial Police and Phu Quoc Police coordinate to seriously and effectively implement the signed content, ensuring clear people, clear tasks, and clear responsibilities.
Representatives of leaders of professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security affirmed that they will accompany and support An Giang Provincial Police in professional work, strengthen coordination in fighting and handling complex cases, especially organized crime and transnational crime, contributing to maintaining security and order in Phu Quoc special zone.
The signing and implementation of the coordination plan is expected to create positive changes in the security and order situation, contributing to building Phu Quoc into a safe and civilized area, effectively serving the socio-economic and tourism development tasks of An Giang province in the coming time.
