According to Hanoi City Police, currently, on social networking platforms, many accounts and groups arbitrarily use the names, images, and badges of the Central Inspection Committee, impersonating the Central Inspection Committee to post information.
These accounts and news sites regularly take information from the press to post on social networks. In which, much information about the meetings of the Central Inspection Committee, about the activities of the Party Inspection Sector is taken from the Electronic Information Page of the Central Inspection Committee (https://ubkttw.vn) but has not been permitted by the Central Inspection Committee Agency, the unit managing the News Site.
Notably, some accounts and news sites also incorporate unverified information and distorted comments, affecting the inspection and supervision work and the prestige and image of the Central Inspection Committee and the Party Inspection Sector.

Currently, the Central Inspection Committee Agency only manages and operates the Electronic Information Page of the Central Inspection Committee at https://ubkttw.vn to perform the task of information and propaganda about the activities of the Party Inspection Sector. The agency does not create or manage any accounts, websites, or groups on social networking platforms.
Hanoi City Police requested people not to share information from fake pages of the Central Inspection Committee.
Cases of posting and sharing untrue information on social networks will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
