On February 4, a delegation of police officers from Salavan province (Laos) led by Major General Sy Sot - Xon Da La, Director of Salavan Provincial Police, visited and wished Tet to officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Command (BGB) of Hue City.
Welcoming the delegation were Colonel Hoang Minh Hung - Commander of the Hue City Border Guard Command and leaders, officers, and soldiers of the unit.
In a warm atmosphere, full of friendship, Major General Si Sot - Xon Da La sent best New Year wishes to officers and soldiers of Hue City Border Guard; and expressed his joy at the solid and close relationship between Salavan Provincial Police and Hue City Border Guard over the years.
The two sides have effectively coordinated in inspecting and controlling border gates, exchanging information, fighting and preventing crime, maintaining political security, social order and safety and protecting national sovereignty and border security of each country.
The working delegation thanked the attention and support of the Hue City Border Guard, wishing that in the coming time, the two units will continue to closely coordinate, improve work efficiency, and promote the special friendship tradition between Vietnam and Laos.
On behalf of officers and soldiers of the unit, Colonel Hoang Minh Hung respectfully thanked the feelings of the Party Committee, government and people of Lao ethnic groups, including the Salavan Provincial Police; affirmed the determination to coordinate in building a border line of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development.
