On the same day, An Cuu Ward Police supported the 92-year-old woman in getting out of the deeply flooded area at pot 177 Truong Chinh. Meanwhile, Phong Dien Ward Police coordinated with functional forces to successfully rescue 6 people who were trapped in Cat stream, Road 71 to Rao Trang Hydropower Plant.

Faced with prolonged heavy rain, causing deep flooding and landslides in many areas, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police has directed all forces to mobilize 100% of troops and vehicles, focusing on responding, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, absolutely not letting people go hungry or cold.

Hue City Police have synchronously deployed proactive plans to prevent natural disasters, especially in vulnerable and low-lying areas such as Phu Xuan and Huong Tra wards, National Highway 49B.
Units strictly maintain the on-duty and combat duty regime; officers and soldiers closely monitor the area, review dangerous areas, propagate and mobilize people to comply with safety recommendations, do not move through deeply flooded areas.
Specialized forces such as Traffic Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Mobile Police, Logistics Department... were mobilized to ensure logistics, organize rescue, support people to overcome the consequences of floods and stabilize their lives.

The Hue City Police Department also directly inspected the response work at the grassroots level, requesting the police of communes and wards to increase propaganda, instruct people to evacuate when necessary, and coordinate with local authorities to maintain security, order and safety at evacuation points.
The police force is assigned to control and guide traffic at deeply flooded areas and fast-flowing water, determined not to let people and vehicles pass through dangerous areas; at the same time, ensure that no people are hungry, cold or lack housing after natural disasters.
