Going through every alley, knocking on every door" covers technology and fire safety
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hau (60 years old, residing in Tan Son Nhat ward) assessed that the 45-day and night peak campaign of the Ho Chi Minh City Police is a policy that is in line with the people's wishes, bringing many results in the fight against crime, especially drug crime. She also noted positive changes in urban order, contributing to keeping roads and sidewalks clear, and at the same time proposed that localities continue to strengthen inspection and handle violations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung (resident of Ban Co ward) said that in the past time, the police force has gone to each alley to propagate the law, warn about criminal tricks and guide people to install the application "SOS Security, Order".
According to Mr. Dung, the application helps the elderly easily report online cases such as theft, fights or fires without having to directly go to the Ward Police.
Increasingly in peak days, ensuring fire safety and firefighting (PCCC) in small, deep alleys - where specialized fire trucks are difficult to access - is always a top concern. At the end of June, Tan Son Nhat Ward Police presided over and coordinated with PC07 Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police, Ward People's Committee and Management Board of Quarter 31 to organize direct PCCC & CNCH training at alley No. 9 Chu Dong Tu.
With the motto "going through every alley, knocking on every door" to spread the spirit of "no one is left behind", soldiers and union officials went to each household to guide and raise awareness of vigilance and install two practical digital utilities: the Security and Order App (ANTT - SOS) and the Fire Alert 114 App.
The campaign in alley 9 Chu Dong Tu achieved very encouraging results when approaching and directly propagating to 82 households with 328 people; handing out 621 leaflets, pasting posters; guiding 100% of people on how to download and use the above two applications and guiding visual practice on how to use portable fire extinguishers on the spot.
Tighten residence management, attack drug crime from the root

In order to maintain security and order, the Ward Police requested establishments, businesses and people to strictly comply with the law on residence and promptly declare temporary residence immediately when foreigners come to stay.
In Cau Ong Lanh ward, functional forces strengthened the inspection of residence in residential areas, boarding houses, and accommodation establishments; reviewed suspicious cases and quickly tested drugs according to regulations. At the same time, the Ward Police mobilized people to participate in the movement "All people protect national security", contributing to maintaining security and order.
