On April 27, Ba Ngoi Ward Police said they are implementing a program to mobilize people to voluntarily remove modified exhaust pipes and noise-causing exhaust pipes, in exchange for gifts of rice. Thereby, contributing to building a civilized lifestyle.
The program is aimed at teenagers and people who use motorbikes with modified exhaust pipes and modified exhaust pipes that do not meet standards. Participants only need to remove and reinstall the original exhaust pipe, then bring the removed exhaust pipe to submit to the Ward Police headquarters.
Each case of voluntary submission will receive 10kg of rice. This is a form of encouraging the spirit of self-discipline in complying with the law, spreading the awareness of civilized living in the community.
The program not only helps people avoid administrative fines of 4–6 million VND for changing vehicle structures, causing noise, but also contributes to ensuring safety when operating vehicles. The original pot helps the vehicle operate stably, save fuel, and extend the engine life.
Reducing noise from vehicles contributes to restoring peace to residential areas, limiting the impact on the lives of the elderly and young children.
Ba Ngoi Ward Police called on parents and teenagers to respond and raise awareness of law compliance, not to use exhaust pipes that cause noise.
The program is implemented at the Ba Ngoi Ward Police headquarters and received on all days of the week.
