Maximum social benefits for people with disabilities

Clause 6, Article 5 of Decree 20/2021/ND-CP stipulates that people with severe disabilities and people with extremely severe disabilities according to the law on people with disabilities who are subjects of social protection receive monthly social allowances.

Point e, Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 20/2021/ND-CP stipulates the monthly social allowance level for people with disabilities as follows:

- Coefficient 2.0 for people with extremely severe disabilities;

- Coefficient 2.5 for children with severe disabilities or elderly people with severe disabilities;

- Coefficient 1.5 for people with severe disabilities;

- Coefficient 2.0 for severely disabled children or severely disabled elderly people.

Article 1, Decree 76/2024/ND-CP stipulates that the standard level of social assistance applied from July 1, 2024 is VND 500,000/month.

Thus, the highest social allowance for people with disabilities (children with severe disabilities or elderly people with severe disabilities) is 2.5 x 500,000 VND/month = 1.25 million VND/month.
