Environmental company gives reasons for using trucks to collect garbage in Thai Nguyen

Accordingly, at some festivals at the beginning of the year, there is a situation of dump trucks and trucks carrying goods participating in collecting and transporting waste. The failure to use specialized vehicles to collect waste makes people particularly concerned about environmental issues.

Regarding this issue, on March 5, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Van Xuan ward General Service Center said that the unit signed a contract to collect and transport waste at the Van Xuan National Opening Festival with Pho Yen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company.

When there were feedback about the situation of not using specialized vehicles to collect and transport waste, the unit contacted and inspected the company.

This company explained that at that time the frequency was a bit high, there were specialized vehicles being used in other locations, and some vehicles were being repaired. Due to the lack of vehicles, this unit temporarily used non-specialized trucks to transport garbage, with tarpaulins," the leader said.

According to the leader of the Van Xuan ward General Service Center, this year's festival is large-scale and has a large number of visitors, and a lot of waste is generated. Due to the urgent treatment requirement, not allowing garbage to accumulate, the company temporarily uses trucks carrying goods to treat garbage.

Van Xuan Ward People's Committee has also directed Pho Yen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to transport it safely, without affecting the environment.

Also according to information from the Van Xuan ward General Service Center, this unit signed a contract to collect and transport garbage at the Van Xuan khai quoc Festival with Pho Yen Urban Works and Environment Joint Stock Company from February 25 to March 1.

The contract clearly states that Pho Yen Urban Works and Environment JSC is responsible for complying with environmental sanitation regulations and transporting waste to the right places. Waste transport vehicles are equipped to ensure environmental sanitation in accordance with regulations.

In addition to the contract, this unit also has a commitment to the Van Xuan ward General Service Center in collecting, transporting and dumping waste in accordance with regulations.

The commitment is so, but this unit uses dump trucks and cargo trucks to collect and transport garbage. The reason given is the lack of specialized vehicles, vehicles being repaired and serving at other projects.

Not only affecting the environment, the fact that this unit collects and transports garbage by truck also raises questions about the capacity and professionalism in the service implementation process.

Reporters contacted Pho Yen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to clarify information, however, this unit has not provided it and is scheduled to work next time.
