According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on January 10, the working atmosphere at the Creative Park was bustling, with workers completing the final stages of construction to prepare for its inauguration on January 11. This will be one of the most beautiful parks in Ho Chi Minh City and is considered a gift on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of Thu Duc City's establishment.
Hearing the news that the park is about to be inaugurated, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hong (living in Thu Duc City) shared that she has been waiting for this park for a long time, she is very happy that the park is about to be put into use.
"Previously, this area was a swamp, overgrown with grass. Now there is a new park, the landscape is very beautiful, security and order are also more guaranteed. I will definitely bring my children here to play because my house is nearby, walking here is quite convenient," she said.
Mr. Ngo Van Thanh (living in District 1) hopes that people will have more green space and the landscape of the area will also be more beautiful with this park.
"I see that the park is located right on the bank of the Saigon River, next to Ba Son Bridge, so it has a very beautiful view, you can see the sparkling beauty of the city at night. I think this place will become a super "hot" check-in spot for young people," Mr. Thanh added.
The Creative Park is located along the Saigon River, from Ba Son Bridge to Thu Thiem Bridge, with a length of about 1 km along the riverbank, a width along the bank from 100 m - 120 m high, in Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, with an existing area of about 10 hectares.
The park area will be divided into areas: event organization area, grass carpet arrangement; central park yard, green grass carpet arrangement, walking path, multi-purpose yard; riverbank reinforced with cajuput piles, sandbags to prevent landslides; connecting the entire riverside area, renovating the connecting road at the foot of the bridge; operator house and utilities including toilets, refreshments, convenience stores; parking area...
A representative of the Thu Duc City Technical Infrastructure Development Center said that the park is urgently completing the final items and aims to complete the entire park before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.
